CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Cardio Fit: A low impact aerobics class geared towards seniors.
Dance Fitness: A less intense alternative to Zumba.
Fitness Fusion: An eclectic mix of pilates, martial arts, kickboxing, yoga, and therapeutic deep stretching.
HIIT: Exercises are performed in repeated quick bursts at maximum or near maximal effort with periods of rest or low activity between bouts.
Platform/Step: A form of aerobics used with an elevated platform.
Pump 30/30: Pump 30/30 is a form of Tabata or HIIT aimed at those seeking a beginner to moderate level workout. It is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness and build muscular strength. Each class consists of five rounds rotating through seven stations. Each station consists of 30 seconds of intense activity followed by 30 seconds of rest. Stations may vary by class and may include elements such as skier, rower, bicycle, bands, ropes, hand weights, jumping jacks, jump rope, wall sits, etc.
Restore & Balance: A blend of Tai Chi (Tai Ji Quan), Qigong, and Restorative Yin Yoga with a focus on balance and memory improvement.
Platform/Step: A form of aerobics used with an elevated platform.
Silver Sneakers Classic: A variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.
Tai Chi: Gentle, low-impact exercise that originated in China as a martial art. It is often called “meditation in motion.” Tai Chi reduces stress and improves balance and stability.
Yoga: The grouping of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines.
Slow-Grow-Glow Yoga: Designed for anyone with wrist, knee, or joint pain, this class involves simple poses that help calm the mind and nerves, retain flexibility, and encourage muscle memory. With mindful easy breathwork, this yoga practice is relaxing, refreshing, and restorative. All levels welcome.
Zumba: A high impact dance fitness class.
